Hello and welcome!
I'm Dr Judit Fazekas,
a researcher studying how children learn language while combining the latest
methods from cognitive neuroscience and developmental psycholinguistics.
I currently work at the Predictive Brain Lab at the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging. Here, I’m conducting a Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie postdoctoral project looking into the role predictions play in language acquisition
Previously I was a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Manchester and held postdoctoral positions at the Max Planck Institute and the University of Liverpool. I have also completed my PhD in Liverpool with Professors Caroline Rowland and Julian Pine. This is where my interest in prediction-based language acquisition started.
